by the Florida Department of Health. Specialists and technicians must provide radon services only through affiliation with
a Florida certified radon business. Businesses and individuals will be fined for non-compliance.” State Certified Radon Businesses Your radon test report should include the following information:
2) the name and Florida certification number of the individual that performed
the test,
3) the date and time of the start and end of the test, and
4) the type of device used.
Florida
To become a home inspector applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
1. The applicant currently posseses an active FL license as a professional engineer, architect, general contractor, building
contractor, residential contractor, building code administrator or building official or has maintained one or more of
the above licenses for a combined total of 4 years during the 10-year period immediately preceding the application;
2. The
applicant (1) currently possesses an active FL license as a building code inspector or building inspector or has maintained one
or more of the above licenses for a combined total of 4 years during the 10-year period immediately preceding the application,
and (2) has obtained a grade of 75% or better on the ASHI exam;
3. The applicant (1) has produced proof satisfactory
to the board that he has 3 years experience in a building trade or as a home inspector or a combined total of 3 years
in those fields, and (2) has obtained a grade of 75% or better on the NHIE exam.
