Real Estate Mold Assessment (Inspection) Lab analysis for Real
Estate mold assessment normally identifies molds to the genus level. If you need lab
analysis reports that identify molds to the "species" level for your Real Estate contract requirements; please let your inspector
know when you order the inspection. Species identification for Real Estate mold assessment is unusual and expensive;
requires either DNA analysis or a viable sample to be grown in a lab for several days.

that a negative sampling report must not be used in place of a visual survey. Factors such as barometric
